What Is Olympic Weightlifting?

Olympic weightlifting is a strength sport focused on two explosive barbell movements: the snatch and the clean and jerk. (Lifts also commonly used in Crossfit) Unlike general strength training, Olympic lifting requires precision, power, and technique, making it one of the most effective ways to build total-body strength, speed, and mobility. We specialize in clean and jerk training, snatch technique, and strength and conditioning designed to help you lift confidently and safely. Why Methods Weightlifting?

Matt and Tori met on the Olympic weightlifting team in 2019 at Marian University, where they both earned scholarships for the sport. That shared passion never faded and they still train Olympic weightlifting together to this day.
